Counselling With Taruna
Hello, my name is Taruna Pindoria and I am a fully qualified counsellor.
I’m here to support you with any worries or concerns you may have, and I pride myself on bringing my warm and caring nature to every session.
What is Counselling?
Man sitting underneath a tree
Counselling allows you to explore your thoughts and emotions in a confidential and non-judgemental environment.
It can give you the time and space to open up and talk freely about the things on your mind and help you to gain a better understanding of yourself.
The main approach I use is called person centred counselling.
Counselling Approaches
Person Centred
Person centred counselling puts you at the heart of the sessions and allows you to bring whatever you need to talk about. The sessions can help you to clarify things in your mind, offer new perspectives and challenge your thoughts.
Sessions will be led by you and not directed by the counsellor. Person centred counselling can be suitable for both short and long term counselling.
Solution Focused
I also offer solution focused counselling which is more suitable for short term counselling. This approach focuses on what is going on for you now in order to promote positive change, without delving into the past.
We will look at setting goals and working towards how these will be achieved.
